A Nordic Spa and Boutique Hotel Are Planned for Harmony Harbour Near Calgary

The company behind the Everwild Nordic Spa in Canmore is planning a second wellness destination just outside Calgary.

Everwild Harmony Nordic Spa and Hotel is a planned lakeside spa and boutique hotel development coming to Harmony Harbour, the growing community west of Calgary near Springbank.

The project will bring a Nordic style spa experience to the area, centred around thermal wellness rituals like hot pools, cold plunges, saunas and relaxation spaces designed around the traditional hot, cold and rest cycle.

If built as planned, it would become one of the closest Nordic spa style experiences to Calgary.

Everwild is being developed by Basecamp Resorts, the company behind several mountain hotels and the Everwild spa destination in Canmore.

The Harmony location is designed as a year round wellness destination that combines spa experiences with hospitality and dining.

Plans for the development include a boutique hotel with 26 guest rooms, indoor and outdoor spa areas across the lakefront property and a restaurant and lounge overlooking the water.

Harmony has been steadily building out its village style amenities over the past several years. The new harbour district is expected to become a central gathering area within the community as additional restaurants, recreation and visitor experiences are added.

For Calgarians, the project could eventually offer another easy wellness escape just outside the city, similar to the Nordic spa experiences that currently require a trip to the mountains.
