Banff Is Getting a New Alpine Electronic Music Festival This Spring

A new mountain music festival is coming to Banff this spring. Aroabora Music Festival will debut March 27 and 28, 2026 at the Banff Train Station, introducing a two-night electronic music event rooted in alpine culture and atmospheric sound.

The festival focuses on melodic, cinematic electronic music, described by organizers as Boreal Techno, shaped by late winter nights, big skies, and the seasonal shift toward spring in the Rockies.

In addition to the ticketed evening shows, Aroabora will host a free, all-ages community session on Saturday afternoon from 12 to 3 pm, featuring art installations, local food trucks, and relaxed daytime programming open to the Banff community.

The inaugural lineup includes A-Trak, Simon Doty, CRi (DJ set), Parra for Cuva, and more. Tickets are now on sale.

Worth bookmarking if spring trips to Banff and electronic music are on your radar.
