Our Daily Brett has been a daytime staple for years, known for long brunch lines and reliable coffee runs.
Now it’s extending into evenings.
The neighbourhood café has introduced weeknight Market Dinners, adding a full dinner menu and later hours Monday through Friday. The shift moves the space from daytime hangout to casual, low key dinner spot with a more elevated, shareable approach to food and drinks.
The new menu focuses on familiar ingredients done with a bit more intention.
Expect plates like truffle potatoes, garlic butter prawns, charred cauliflower with hazelnut romesco and crispy leeks, Alberta beef tartare with truffled egg yolk and chips, slow braised short rib over soft polenta, and lobster gnocchi. Desserts include a chocolate cake with whipped ganache and candied cacao nibs.
Cocktails, local beer, and easygoing wines round out the lineup.
It reads less like a formal night out and more like the kind of place you stop into on a weeknight when cooking feels ambitious but you still want something thoughtful.
For regulars, it’s a familiar room with a different energy after dark. For everyone else, it quietly adds another solid dinner option in the Marda Loop area.
