Chinook Blast at Prince’s Island Park
If you want something that feels big and lively, head downtown for Chinook Blast’s Family Day programming at Eau Claire and Prince’s Island Park. The RISE UP Calgary Community Outdoor Stage features Skinny Blaiz and Ray Val at 12 pm, Bollywood Jam with Dhanak at 1:30 pm and DJ Jadé at 3 pm, alongside roving puppeteers and costumed performers throughout the grounds.
You can skate on The Lagoon, try Ice Bikes or warm up inside The Dome’s immersive projection space. The first 50 skate rentals are free starting at noon. Expect interactive light installations, live music and plenty of space to wander.
