Namo Cafe Bistro is appearing on Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives on March 13, and the team is quick to point out they didn’t get there alone.
“We are so grateful and thankful to our incredible community, who nominated us and wanted to share our kitchen with the rest of the world,” the team wrote on Instagram. If you’ve visited the Edmonton Trail location recently, you may have already spotted Guy Fieri’s signed poster on the wall.
The episode is titled “Flavorworld” and airs Friday March 13 at 9pm or 10pm MST on Food Network. Check your cable guide as times vary by provider.
It’s the latest in a string of Calgary features on the current season, alongside Darwin’s Charcoal BBQ Chicken and Jane Bond BBQ. The city is having a moment.
Namo has three Calgary locations on Edmonton Trail, 11th Ave SW, and Macleod Trail SW.
