Make a Day of It at Spruce Meadows International Christmas Market

If one Christmas market feels like a full holiday outing, it’s this one. Spruce Meadows adds a fourth weekend in 2026, with hundreds of vendors across indoor halls and outdoor stalls, fire pits and festive food. New this year: adults-only Friday evenings and a pop-up cocktail bar with Proof. Event details
Good to know: More than 100,000 people came last year. Buy tickets ahead and go on a Friday.
Grab a Mulled Wine Downtown at the Calgary Winter Market
When: Thu to Sun, Nov. 19 to Dec. 13; daily Dec. 15 to 24 Where: Eau Claire Plaza Admission: $10 advance ticket from 5 pm on; always free for under 18 and over 65
A European-style market right downtown, with market huts, specialty food and drinks, handmade gifts and live music on the newly renovated plaza. It’s the only market on this list that runs to Christmas Eve, so it’s the one for last-minute gifts. 2026 tickets
Good to know: Tickets are only required from 5 pm, so a daytime visit is the cheap way in. A season pass is available if you’ll be back.
Shop After Dark at the Crossroads Holiday Night Markets

Sip and Shop at the Inglewood Night Market, Holiday Edition

Start the Season Early at the Bowness Christmas Market

Visit Santa’s Fireside Grotto at the Bearspaw Christmas Market

Discover Emerging Artists at Holiday Market Collective

Bring the Kids to Granary Road Christmas Market

Try the German Street Food at Century Downs Weihnachtsmarkt

Tips for Visiting Calgary Christmas Markets
- Book early for Spruce Meadows, Millarville and Banff. Timed slots sell out.
- Go on a Friday to miss the Saturday crowds.
- Dress for outside. Even indoor markets have outdoor stalls and lineups.
- Bring a tote. You’ll find something you weren’t planning to buy.
