Calgary International Film Festival

The Calgary International Film Festival (CIFF) returns September 24 to October 4, bringing 11 days of films, premieres, documentaries, shorts and special events to screens across Calgary.

The 2026 lineup spans everything from Canadian and international features to music documentaries, indie films and stories from emerging filmmakers. Early announced titles include The Best Summer, featuring previously unseen footage from the 1995 Summersault tour, Frampton, an intimate documentary about rock icon Peter Frampton, and The Stunt Driver, which reunites Jay Baruchel and director Michael Dowse for a Canadian comedy.

Film fans can choose individual screenings or pick up ticket bundles, with 5-ticket, 8-ticket and 16-ticket options available. All-access and student passes are also available for those planning to take in more of the festival, including select industry events, panels and parties.

Showtime booking for pass and bundle holders begins August 28.
