Big burger news, Calgary. Bobby Flay, the Food Network legend, is finally bringing his Bobby’s Burgers chain to Canada. The first stop is Toronto, but with 65 locations planned nationwide, it feels like only a matter of time before Calgary makes the list.
“Expanding into Canada and becoming an international brand is a major milestone,” Flay said in the announcement. “We’re bringing our signature handcrafted burgers, fries, and milkshakes to a brand-new audience, and I couldn’t be more excited.”
What Makes Bobby’s Burgers Special
If you have watched Beat Bobby Flay or flipped through one of his cookbooks, you know he never settles for boring. His menu is all about elevated, chef-driven burgers. Picture the iconic Bacon Crunchburger® with crispy onion rings, perfectly seasoned fries, and rich, spoon-bending milkshakes like pistachio or dark chocolate. There are even breakfast options if you need an early-morning burger fix.
The vibe is fast-casual meets foodie heaven. It is approachable enough for a weekday lunch but creative enough that you will want to take a quick photo before you dig in.

Calgary Could Be on the Map
The team behind the Canadian rollout is already scouting locations across the country, starting in the GTA. With 65 restaurants planned, Calgary feels like a strong contender.
Imagine grabbing a Bobby’s Burger on 17th Ave. for a post-patio bite, in The Core for a pre-shopping meal, or in Bridgeland or Inglewood for a burger and beer night out. Wherever it lands, expect lineups.
Why Calgary Should Be Excited
Calgary already has plenty of amazing burger spots, but Bobby Flay brings something different. His approach combines chef-level creativity with comfort food vibes. The brand also tends to open in high-energy, foodie neighborhoods in the U.S., which means the Calgary location, when it comes, will be a hot spot.
Your Turn, Calgary
There is no confirmed opening date or city list beyond Toronto just yet, but the search for Canadian locations is happening right now. We will share updates as soon as a Calgary location is confirmed.
