Big news for Alberta beer fans: Sea Change Brewing Co. is officially opening a location in Calgary.
New signage has been spotted on 11th Avenue SW, confirming that the beloved Edmonton brewery will be taking over the former Inner City Brewing space. Known for its tattoo-inspired can designs and approachable craft beers, Sea Change has become one of Alberta’s most recognizable names since launching in 2017.

From Edmonton to Calgary
Founded by a crew of musicians, artists, and beer lovers, Sea Change built its following on good beer and good community vibes. With two taprooms already open in Edmonton and Beaumont, the new Calgary location marks the brewery’s third and first in southern Alberta.
What to Expect
No official opening date has been announced yet, but if the other locations are any indication, expect a relaxed space filled with creative energy, music, and plenty of local collaboration. Fans can look forward to classics like The Wolf Hazy Pale Ale, SCUD Ultra Dry, and the bright, fruity Prairie Fairy, along with small-batch releases unique to the taproom.
