The smash burger tour continues, Calgary.
Rosie’s Burgers is opening its third Calgary location and this time it’s Marda Loop getting the love.
Doors officially open Saturday, January 10, and Rosie’s is doing what Rosie’s does best to celebrate. Free burgers. Loud energy. Zero chill.

Why you should show up early: 100 free Rosie’s burgers, first come, first serve
If you’ve been following Rosie’s Calgary expansion, this is their third run at it and clearly the city is responding. Beltline came first. Bridgeland followed. Now Marda Loop joins the smash burger map, which honestly feels very on brand for the neighbourhood.
What to expect once doors open
Rosie’s keeps things simple and indulgent in the best way. Think crispy-edged smash patties, soft buns, straight-up fries, nostalgic shakes, and a menu built for comfort food cravings without overthinking it. It’s casual, fast, and designed for repeat visits, not special occasions.
Marda Loop is also a smart move. High foot traffic, lots of locals, and the kind of area where a reliable burger spot becomes part of the weekly rotation very quickly.
Our advice
If free burgers are involved, don’t stroll in at 12:15 and expect miracles. Set an alarm. Show up early. Accept that this will be busy and that is half the fun.
We’ll be stopping by once the hype settles to see how the new location stacks up, but for now, this is your official heads up.
Burger party starts at noon.
Don’t be late.
