Calgary food lovers will have the chance to experience one of North America’s most talked-about chefs without leaving the city.
On August 17, Francine’s is hosting a one-night collaboration dinner with Chef Jake Potashnick, the chef and owner of Chicago’s Michelin-starred restaurant Feld.
Since opening Feld in 2024, Potashnick has earned a Michelin star, been named one of Bon Appétit’s Best New Restaurants in America, and won the 2026 James Beard Award for Best Chef: Great Lakes. His ingredient-driven approach has made Feld one of the continent’s most sought-after dining destinations.
The dinner also marks a reunion between Potashnick and Francine’s Executive Chef Garrett Martin, who first met while cooking together at Daniel Berlin Krog in Sweden in 2016. Nearly a decade later, the two chefs are reuniting in Calgary to create a collaborative multi-course menu inspired by their shared experiences, friendship and passion for seasonal ingredients.
Tickets are $200 per person, including tax and gratuity, and go on sale Friday, July 24 through OpenTable.
