Wildwoman

Step into the darkly funny and fiercely imaginative world of WILDWOMAN, a bold reimagining inspired by the true story that sparked the legend of Beauty and the Beast. This provocative new production pulls back the curtain on the royal court of 16th-century France, where power, desire, and rebellion collide.

What to Expect

Follow Catherine de Medici, a young queen-to-be, as she navigates a web of rivalries involving her reckless husband, a cunning lady-in-waiting, and the king’s manipulative mistress. When the king introduces his latest curiosity — Pete, a mysterious “wildman” — Catherine’s inner strength and darker instincts begin to surface. What follows is a wickedly sharp, darkly comic exploration of identity, control, and what happens when a woman embraces her own wildness.

Who It’s For

Recommended for audiences 16+ due to mature themes, strong language, and sexual content. This is theatre at its most daring — perfect for those who love smart, provocative storytelling that pushes the edge.
