Thursday Gentle Flow & Restore – 90-Minute Yoga Class
Fun, social yet educational and effective – this 90 minute Flow & Restore is exactly what you need. Great of Yoga Beginners!
Gentle Flow & Restore
A 90-Minute Yoga Class
This is not a nap-on-a-mat class… and it’s not a sweaty power flow either.
It’s a smartly built, feel-good yoga experience designed to help you move better, feel stronger, and leave genuinely relaxed.
We start slow, gradually build energy and strength, work on balance and mobility, and then wind things down and relax into savasana.
What to Expect
✔ A Well-Designed Flow
We ease in, build intelligently, and move with purpose. You’ll strengthen, stretch, and improve balance without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
✔ Feel-Good Education
I’ll explain why we’re doing what we’re doing — simple, practical cues that help you understand your body and move better in real life.
✔ Restore Without Boredom
The second half shifts into deeply supported restorative poses that help you unwind, release tension, and reset — no awkward stillness, no guessing what to do.
✔ Signature Finish
We wrap it all up with a guided relaxation that helps your body fully let go. This is where the magic actually happens — and where most people realize how much they needed this.
Come for the movement.
Stay for the relaxation.
Leave feeling better than when you arrived.
This class is welcoming, unintimidating, and perfect if you want yoga that’s effective, enjoyable, and a little bit social — without the fluff.
Meet Your Instructor: Shawna Z
Shawna Z is the founder of the Wine & Yoga Club (https://wineandyoga.com/), a community designed to give health-minded women a place to connect, socialize, and meet lifelong friends who share their passion for living life with balance.
Her yoga classes are fun and social yet educational and effective, making them great for beginners and a non-intimidating way to discover how yoga can be exactly what you need.
Many students socialize outside of class and attend other Wine & Yoga Club events, making this class more than just a workout—it’s an opportunity to build meaningful connections.

A Quick Note About Membership (Davisburg Classes)
Because these classes are held at the Davisburg Community Hall, participants are required to be members of the Davisburg Community Association.
The good news?
The membership is just $20 per year for an entire family, and it supports the upkeep of this beautiful local space. Most people already spend more than that on one coffee date — so it’s a small add-on that helps keep community programs like this running.
Membership is arranged directly through the Davisburg Community Association and is separate from class registration.

FAQs
What if I have no yoga experience?
No problem! Shawna’s classes are great for beginners. Poses are well explained with a focus on teaching you how you should feel in a pose rather than just what it should look like.
What do I need to bring?
Good question! Students are requested to bring: A yoga mat, 2 yoga blocks, a yoga bolster and a yoga strap. We have packages and bundles available and can help you decide what will work best for you; email us at wineandyogaclub@gmail.com.
Is drop-in available?
Drop-ins are subject to space as priority goes to registered participants. We highly recommend choosing the registered program to ensure your spot. Classes are recorded so if you miss one you can get it online at your convenience.
What if I am going to miss a class?
We highly recommend signing up anyway. Classes will be recorded so can catch up if you miss one.
How does the online option work?
Classes will be recorded live and shared with a Google Album.
Is there wine in this class?
No. This is a regular yoga class, however, it is not uncommon for students in our classes to socialize after class. The Saskatoon Farm has great food and we will often stay for lunch, coffee or wine after class.
