The Art of Graphite
Join artist Kelly Isaak for a one-weekend workshop that will help you develop your skills in graphite. Sat & Sun 10-4.
Over the course of the weekend, we will work on building stronger values, varied mark-making, creating smooth versus textured images and structuring stronger three-dimensional forms. We’ll also work on identifying our angles, proportions and perspective when drawing our subjects to improve accuracy. Materials are included and light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Do I need drawing experience?
This workshop is designed for beginner to intermediate students.
Do I need to buy supplies?
You are welcome to bring your own supplies, especially if there is something you use that you really enjoy, but I will have supplies there for all students to use.
Is there food in the area?
Heritage Roasters Coffee is across the street. Dandy Brewery is right next door and the Crossroads market is just down the street. All three are open each of our workshop dates.
What are the workshop hours?
Saturday 10 am – 4 pm, Sunday 10 am – 4 pm.
