River Hall is expanding to four days a week for its longest season yet
River Hall is back on the Bow River for its third season, and this year it’s sticking around longer. We’re talking live music, local food and drink, shaded picnic zones, and open sightlines to the water, four days a week for 10 straight weeks. Best part: it’s completely free.
The previous season pulled in more than 10,000 visitors, hosted 34 events, and worked with over 80 local programming partners. This season goes bigger, with more open days, more room, and a new stretch of greenspace along the river.
The Stage, the Containers, and Shirley’s Greenhouse
Ten shipping containers make up the vendor lineup, pouring craft beer, cocktails, coffee, and non-alcoholic drinks, with fried chicken, ice cream, and vegetarian options to go with them. A community stage runs live music, DJs, and performances throughout the season, and there are shaded picnic spots and family activities if you’re bringing the kids.
Elsewhere on site: open sightlines to the Bow River, room to spread out on the grass, and Shirley’s Greenhouse selling fresh local produce through the Farm Stand Program from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on select dates. The season opened with live sets from Back & Forth, Jadé, Jenuiine, and DJ Sonidef, and the stage keeps a rotating lineup right through to the end of September.
