Paint your Pet at Atlas Brewing October 16th Paint and Sip

A step-by-step painting class but in a restaurant. Best of both worlds!

*VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION*After purchasing your ticket YOU MUST:

– submit a photo of your pet to hello@pubnpaint.ca with the subject

“PYP October 16th”

– include your NAME (the same used to purchase your ticket) in your email

– only 1 pet photo (yes, we agree, your pet is the best; please only send one photo per pet)

– when submitting multiple pets for multiple tickets (1 photo/canvas), assign

the painter’s name to each pet picture

– ensure you have good lighting for the photo (try in front of a window or outside)

– phone photos are acceptable.

– send a .JPEG or .PNG file

What could be better than painting and drinking but with your pet! In this Pub N Paint event you get to PAINT YOUR PET onto a canvas to have furever!

All Ages are welcome though parental discretion is advised as there will be adult humour and the pace of the class may not be enjoyable for those under 12 years old. All participants under 16yrs old must be accompanied by a participating adult with their own ticket (Max 3:1)

Join us at Atlas Brewing Airdrie for this specialized paint night experience. Follow along with step-by-step instructions on how to recreate your pet in paint, sip on your $5 pints & mimosas, and laugh with the other painters at the instructor’s jokes (note there is no option to opt out of laughing at the instructor’s jokes). This is a fun, inclusive, supportive and relaxed atmosphere, promoting the creation of art in good company. Supplies are all included, so bring yourself and be ready for a good time! Remember to bring a copy of your pet-pic!

If you bought tickets in a separate transaction from your friends, you may want to send an email with the subject line [Date] PubNPaint Group Booking.” to @hello@pubnpaint with the list of names so we can make sure to have a place set for your group size.

Make sure to leave your fur-baby safely at home while you paint! And tag us @pubnpaintyeg with a photo of your pet beside your painting when you get home! Also note that Pub N Paint, Atlas Brewing and their affiliates are not liable if you get paint on yourself or worse… accidentally drink it. 😉

FAQs

Do I get to take my painting home with me?

Yes of course! Please take your masterpiece home with you, we have plenty of our own. Seriously. We have a storage unit full of our duplicate paintings we use to teach our classes. You know what we do with them though? During special fundraisers, we sell them by donations given to a local charity!

Can I drink the paint water?

Please don’t drink the paint water.

Will I be seated with my friend but also by a window? I like my friend but they smell bad.

We do our best to make appropriate accommodations for all of our attendees the day of, but if you have specific needs please email us beforehand and we will ensure the right space for you.

Yeah but, can I NOT drink the paint water?

Listen, you can do whatever you set your mind to, like having one heck of a good time at one of our events, or making something you never thought you could make. We all have the capacity to do great things for ourselves to better ourselves. Please don’t subjugate yourself to drinking the paint water

I’m worried about getting paint on my clothes, will it come off?

We supply you with an apron that has withstood the test of many a Pub N Paint spill, and it does a darn good job at protecting your clothes. That said, we use acrylic paint which has a habit of drying and forming a solid plastic. Use cold water to pull out the wet stuff, and donate it if it dries.

I’m going to drink the paint water.

That’s not a question. Don’t drink the paint water. I’m going to go scream into a pillow now, thank you kindly.

Should we arrive early to make sure we have seats? We would like to eat beforehand too.

Sure thing! You are welcome to come early, order food and drink, and be merry! If our instructor is still setting up when you arrive, you can sit elsewhere to indulge in your delights, and then find your way to your saved seats when our event starts. Bring your food and drinks!

I drank the paint water and it tasted really bad. Can I have a refund?

Has it been up to 1 day before your event? We will refund tickets up to 1 day before our event starts. How did you get the paint water before your event anyways? Or are you at your event right now? If that’s the case, you broke the first two rules of Pub N Paint. Do not pass GO. Do not collect $200.

Are tips expected or can we just ignore this?

Expected? Yes. Please don’t ignore this, we provide a service ensuring everyone leaves feeling happy. We are artists and our job is to bring you a positive, creative experience. We appreciate your respect and recognition of our work; your gratitude shows that we succeeded in our goal.
