Calgary International Blues Festival
Calgary Bluesfest is back for its 22nd year, bringing four days of live blues music to The Confluence from July 30 to August 2. The annual festival features a lineup of Canadian and international blues artists, with performances running throughout the weekend on the festival’s MainStage.
This year’s lineup includes award-winning performers and blues legends such as Angel Forrest, Big Dave McLean, Bob Corritore, David Gogo, Demetria Taylor, Miss Emily, Steve Marriner, Russell Jackson Band, Cousin Harley, Melody Angel, and more.
Beyond the music, festival-goers can browse the arts market, grab food and drinks on site, and enjoy one of Calgary’s longest-running summer music festivals along the RiverWalk.
Getting there is easiest by CTrain, bike, or on foot. The City Hall LRT Station is about a three-minute walk away, and bike racks will be available on site. Drivers should plan ahead, as nearby road construction has reduced parking access around The Confluence.
