Let’s paddle Witches!
Dress up witchy, wear your witch hat or go all out and wear it all.
Bring your paddle board, kayak, canoe – let’s gather and paddle!
Why not? This may be our last chance to get out on the water for the season, and it IS the season of the witch. (cue the song)
This is going to be FUN!
Who will be our:

♀️ Witches market table – NEW this year!
All proceeds to the Okotoks Food Bank
Last year we raised $561 – wow!
Let’s blow past that this year!
You are welcome to bring your child as long as they stay on the board with you at all times & wear a life jacket.
BRING YOUR OWN GEAR
If you don’t own a board or boat, there are several places to rent in Calgary & online options like Fat Llama (https://fatllama.com/ca), etc. Life jackets highly recommended on board **This is a community event, not a class or a learn-to-paddle session. Please know how to set up your own board/boat & take precaution for your own water safety and be comfortable in the water should you fall in.**

FAQs
Do I have to be a lake member to attend?
No. Just sign up on the event link, your name is added to the entry list when you check in at the beach house.
Can I bring my child?
Yes. You may purchase a pass for your child. They must follow lake rules, stay on your board & wear a life jacket at all times.
Will it be cold?
Maybe, but let’s go have fun!
How do I set up my board/boat?
Please come prepared with your own pump & allow yourself enough time to be ready to launch by 2:30pm. If you are using an electric pump with car adaptor, you may inflate in the parking lot. Please note that you must be able to set up your board on your own.
Is it okay to take photos/video?
Yes! We can set up a group to share them to as needed. Waterproofing your gear is highly recommended.
Where does the money go?
After paying the lake rental fee, the proceeds are donated to the Okotoks Food Bank.
