Weekly Yin and Sound Bath

Wednesday yin yoga & sound bath in Calgary: unwind stress, regulate your nervous system, and prevent burnout. No experience needed.

Yoga and sound bath practices, led by intention, to help you rest deeply and reconnect with yourself. What Is Somatic Yin Yoga? Somatic Yin Yoga combines the slow, supported nature of Yin Yoga with somatic awareness — bringing your attention inward to notice sensations, breath, tension, and the subtle ways your body responds. Rather than forcing a stretch or trying to achieve a particular shape, you are invited to slow down, listen to your body, and explore movement and stillness at your own pace. Expect longer-held Yin Yoga postures, gentle somatic movement, breath-led relaxation, meditation, and spacious pauses designed to help you shift from doing into being. Your 90-Minute Experience You’ll be guided through a calming sequence that includes: • Somatic Yin Yoga with gentle, mindful movement and 3–5 minute holds • Breathwork to encourage relaxation, presence, and deeper awareness • Guided meditation to quiet mental noise and reconnect inward • Sound Healing & Sound Bath with crystal singing bowls and immersive vibrations • Stillness and integration to give your body and mind space to settle No experience is required. You do not need to be flexible, experienced in yoga, or familiar with meditation. Simply come as you are. Why Somatic Yin Yoga & Sound Healing? Yin Yoga creates space for stillness and mindful awareness, while somatic practices encourage you to notice and respond to what you are experiencing in your body. A sound bath adds an immersive sensory layer that can make it easier to slow down, settle, and become present. Together, these practices create a Calgary yoga and wellness experience focused on relaxation, mindfulness, body awareness, and restoration — a gentle nervous system reset that supports nervous system regulation and burnout prevention. You may leave feeling: • More relaxed and grounded • Less physically tense • More connected to your body • Quieter mentally • More present and aware • Restored after a busy week This is not about doing more. It is about creating space to feel, breathe, soften, and be.
